The goal of TCMS cheerleading is to be role models of TCMS throughout the school and community. The squad also allows young ladies to grow personally, mentally, athletically, emotionally, and socially. The team also allows the squad members to grow their team building and leadership skills.

The TCMS cheerleaders won the CCPS County Championship in 2022 and 2023. They have brought home runner-up in multiple previous years.

Cheerleading is the only two season sport at TCMS. We cheer at boys’ and girls’ basketball games. However, we continue after both seasons to prepare for the county competition. The cheerleaders participate in other activities around the school like spirit tunnels and cheering for our Unified Basketball Team.

Here is the information packet for tryouts for the 2024-2025 season. Tryouts will take place on May 20, 21, 22, and 23. Please reach out to the coaches if you have any questions.

A sports physical and concussion form must be turned in to the main office before the first day of tryouts. The physical must be dated on or after May 1st, 2024. The forms can be found on the athletic page.
